So this last weekend we were lucky enough to have my parents and Scott and Tyler's parents come to Boston to participate in Katelyn's blessing. It was so great to have them here and fun for them all to meet Katelyn. It made me excited for a time when we can live closer to family. I was even more fortunate that my parents and Scott got to stay for a couple of extra days and hang out with Katelyn and I while Tyler was at school. This first picture is my parents and Scott in front of Peacefield- the house where John and Abigail Adams lived in the latter part of their life. We also got to see the houses were John Adams and John Quincy Adams were born. It was really amazing to see all the original artifacts there and stand in the places where they must have stood. (Yes, I am a history nerd).

I thought it would be nice to put a picture of Tyler's pumpkin on here since he didn't get to carve it until 11 pm on Halloween night
Also, not really seen on Halloween was Katelyn's adorable princess costume that my mom and I made. She wasn't in the best of moods that night and so she spend very little time in it. :)
For those of you who know Tyler very well you know that he likes to make comments when he is in class. Well, aparently Katelyn has subconsciously inherited that trait. When she is sleeping she likes to have her hand raised in the hopes that she too might get called on. :)

She is really adorable guys. Wish I could meet her. Hope the blessing went well! Oh and I think it would be cool to see all those places too Nicole...does that make me a nerd too?:)
Nicole, your daughter is beautiful. And yes, Tyler does love to make comments in class, although he seemed to do it progressively less throughout last year. I really hope that we'll be able to meet Katelyn soon.
